LED luminaires, fixed luminaires and drivers are exposed to continuous thermal stress during long-duration operation. A constant-temperature endurance room combines environmental control, independent power circuits and temperature acquisition for endurance and temperature-rise validation.
1. System Components
- Insulated room with heat-resistant interior surfaces;
- Heating, circulation and exhaust systems;
- Independent power distribution and voltage adjustment;
- Sample racks and suspension points;
- Thermocouple acquisition and electrical monitoring;
- Overtemperature, overcurrent, leakage, smoke and emergency-stop protection.
2. Temperature Uniformity
Heaters must not directly radiate onto samples, and circulation airflow should not artificially cool heat sinks. Empty and loaded uniformity checks are recommended. Samples require adequate spacing and normal mounting orientation.
3. Power and Temperature Monitoring
Each sample group should have an independent breaker, contactor and current monitoring. Typical temperature points include LED modules, driver housings, capacitors, terminals, heat sinks and mounting surfaces.
4. Safety and Maintenance
The room should include independent overtemperature protection, fan-failure protection, exhaust interlock, leakage protection, smoke alarm and emergency shutdown. LSKFT can configure room size, power capacity, temperature range, channel count and monitoring software.
